These Terms and Conditions apply when you use thebibleshop.in or buy from The Bible Shop. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them carefully. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.

2. Using the Website
- You must be 18 or older to place an order, or order with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
- If you create an account, keep your password private. You are responsible for orders placed from your account.
- Please give accurate details, especially your delivery address, pincode and phone number. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect details.
3. Products
- We describe each product title as accurately as we can, including its language, translation or version, binding and size. The descriptions on the pages are auto generated. Please contact support to clarify the details before ordering if required.
- Colours in photos may look slightly different on your screen. Cover designs from publishers can change between print runs.
- All products are subject to availability. If an item you ordered turns out to be out of stock, we will tell you and refund any amount paid for it in full.
4. Prices and Payment
- Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay.
- The total you see at checkout, with its breakdown, is the amount you pay.
- We accept UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets, processed securely by Razorpay. We never see your card or bank details. We do not offer Cash on Delivery.
- If a price is clearly wrong because of a mistake on our part, we will contact you before dispatching the order. You may then cancel for a full refund.
5. Orders
After you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. A contract between us is formed when we dispatch your order. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if we suspect fraud or cannot deliver to your pincode. If we do, we will refund any amount you have paid in full.
6. Shipping and Delivery
- We ship across India through Shiprocket and its courier partners. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
- Orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 business days. The estimated delivery date for your pincode is shown on the product page and at checkout. These dates are estimates from the courier, not guarantees.
- Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking link by email or SMS.
- If a parcel arrives damaged or opened, please do not accept it or note it with the courier, and contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos.
- Delivery may take longer during holidays, bad weather, or other events outside our control.
7. Cancellations
You can cancel an order free of charge any time before it is dispatched. Contact us with your order number as soon as possible. Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled, but you may return it as described below.
8. Returns, Replacements and Refunds
- Damaged, defective or wrong items: notify us about any damaged or wrong item within 24 hours of delivery, with photos as proof of damage or incorrect shipment. We will replace the item or refund you after verifying the claim with the delivery partners.
- Items we cannot take back (unless they arrive damaged, defective, or wrong): personalized or made-to-order items such as custom verse boards, items that have been used, or damaged after delivery.
- How refunds are paid: once approved, refunds are made within 7 business days to your original payment method. Your bank may take a few extra days to show the refund.

9. Content and Intellectual Property
The website design, logo, text and photos belong to The Bible Shop or are used with permission. Please do not copy them for commercial use without our written consent. Bible texts and book contents remain the property of their publishers and copyright holders. Product names and cover designs are shown only to identify the products we sell.
Our free Bible reader at readthebible.thebibleshop.in is offered for personal reading. Its texts are subject to the rights of their translators and publishers.
10. Reviews and Messages
If you post a review, please keep it honest and respectful. We may remove reviews that are offensive, unlawful or unrelated to the product. By posting a review, you allow us to show it on the website.
11. Limitation of Liability
We do our best to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot promise that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. As far as the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Ernakulam, Kerala. This does not affect your right to approach a consumer commission.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the website when you place an order applies to that order.
